이 카페는 청양 칠갑산 휴양림 프로젝트의 제안작 중 하나이며, 가파른 산림 경사지를 대지의 질서로 삼아 계획되었다. 이 건축물은 기존 지형의 흐름을 따라 배치되며, 대지의 홰손을 최소화하고 숲의 지형을 그대로 받아드린다.
지그재그 형태의 경사로와 단차로 연결된 테라스형 공간들은 층의 구분 없이 하나의 연속된 공간 경험을 만들어내며, 지붕은 지형을 따라 종이처럼 접히며 숲과 하늘을 지붕 틈 사이로 끌어들인다. 이로써 카페는 대지 위에 놓인 객체가 아니라 지형으로부터 자연스럽게 만들어지는 공간으로 작동한다.

This café proposal is located on a steep forested slope in the Chilgapsan recreational area and is organized entirely by the site’s existing topography. Rather than flattening the land, the architecture follows the natural incline, minimizing earthwork and preserving the surrounding forest.
Terraced platforms connected by zigzagging ramps form a continuous spatial sequence without clear floor divisions. Multiple access points allow visitors to enter from different levels, while the roof folds with the terrain, opening framed views of the sky and forest. The project treats architecture not as an object placed on the site, but as a landscape that emerges from it.
