pH7 은 가장 순수한 중성의 상태를 의미합니다. 순수하지만 때론 변화무쌍한 디자인을 추구하는 'pH7'은 다양한 스펙트럼의 영역을 자유롭게 넘나들며 새로운 건축 디자인의 가치를 만들어 가고 있습니다. pH7 은 머물고 싶고, 다시 찾고 싶은 공간을 디자인 한다는 사명감을 갖고, 고객의 요구사항과 다양한 지역적 특성, 브랜드 가치를 최우선으로 생각하며, 이를 통해 특색있고 창의적인 건축물을 만들어 갑니다.
'pH7' means the purest neutral state. 'pH7', which pursues pure but sometimes versatile design, freely crosses over various spectrum areas and creates new values in architectural design. 'pH7' has a sense of mission to design spaces that people want to stay in and come back to, and prioritizes customer needs, various regional characteristics, and brand values, and through this, creates unique and creative buildings.

도전과 실험
우리는 틀에 박힌 디자인을 거부하며, 아름답고 즐거운 공간을 만들기 위해 스스로 끊임없이 질문하고, 고민하고, 만들고, 실험하는 건축가입니다. 창의적인 공간을 통해 사람들에게 즐겁고 행복한 경험을 선물하는 것이 pH7의 최우선 가치이며, 이를 위해 만족할만한 결과가 나올때 까지 끊임없이 노력합니다.
Challenges & Experiments
We are architects who reject stereotypical designs and constantly question, contemplate, create, and experiment to create beautiful and enjoyable spaces. pH7’s top priority is to give people enjoyable and happy experiences through creative spaces, and we constantly strive to achieve this until we are satisfied with the results.

새로움의 발견, 발명은 이질적 요소들 간의 결합과 반응을 통해 일어납니다. pH7은 공간, 자연, 프로그램, 브랜드, 재료, 미학 등 다양한 분야에 관심을 두며, 다양한 요소들의 과감한 '융복합’을 통해 새로운 건축적/공간적 가치를 만들어 냅니다.
Harmony & Hybridization
Discoveries and inventions occur when heterogeneous elements are combined and react. We are interested in diverse fields such as space, nature, programs, brands, materials, and aesthetics and make creative architectural/spatial values based on the hybridization of heterogeneous elements.

pH7 대표 건축가 홍성범은 영국 AA School을 졸업하였으며, 졸업 후 런던에서 건축가로서의 첫 걸음을 내 딛고, ACME Space, BDP (Building Design Partnership)에서 문화, 상업시설 및 오피스 등 다양한 프로젝트들을 통해 실무경험을 쌓았다. 2018년에는 한국으로 돌아와 매스스터디스 건축사사무소로 자리를 옮겨 종교 및 상업 프로젝트들을 담당하여 디자인 스펙트럼을 넓혔으며, 2020년도에 영국 왕립 건축사를 취득하고 영국건축가협회인 RIBA 및 ARB의 정회원으로 활동 중이다. 현재 서울대학교 건축학과 (Seoul National University), 홍익대학교 건축학과 (Hongik University) 겸임교수로서 학생들을 가르치며 학문적인 영역을 넓히고 있다.
Sungbum Hong, a representative architect of pH7, graduated from AA School in the UK, took his first step as an architect in London after graduation, and gained practical experience through various projects such as culture, commercial facilities, and offices at ACME Space and Building Design Partnership (BDP). In 2018, he returned to Korea and moved to the Mass Studies Architects Office to expand the design spectrum by taking charge of religious and commercial projects, and in 2020, he acquired the Royal Architects of England and is a regular member of the RIBA and ARB.
From 2023, he has been teaching at the Department of Architecture at Seoul National University, while expanding his academic scope.
