P-HOUSE is a small shelter for a farmer who runs a small farm in Goyang City, South Korea. The shelter is designed for the farmer’s family, to enjoy the beautiful nature throughout the interior and exterior spaces. The core concept of the project is to actively connect nature and building spaces, which allows users to have a rich experience in nature.

P-HOUSE는 ‘pH7 Architects’ 팀이 설립한 소형주택 브랜드, ‘커스트홈’의 대표제품이다. 커스트홈은 귀농, 귀촌, 그리고 캠핑/글램핑을 즐기는 라이프 스타일의 부흥에 맞춰 기존의 획일적인 소형주택 디자인에서 벗어나 작지만 풍부한 공간을 그리고 개인의 개성에 맞는 주택을 제공한다는 목표로 설립되었다.

The vertical green fins reinterpreting pine needles create a variety of social areas while surrounding the outside & inside of the building. The density of fins changes from low dense to high dense, in order to create diverse private & semi-private spaces, where three families can gather and share.

P-HOUSE는 커스트홈의 66가지 맞춤형 주택 모델 중 하나로, 삼각형과 사각형이 맞물린 기하학적인 지붕을 통해 작지만 풍부한 공간감을 느낄 수 있는 소형주택이다. 대부분의 제품이 전원에 위치한다는 특성에 맞게, 건물은 내/외부에서 아름다운 자연을 최대한 즐길 수 있도록 디자인 되었다. 다양한 크기의 기하학적 창문을 통해 자연의 공간은 내부에 적극적으로 유입되며, 삼각형, 반원, 사각형의 다양한 모양의 창들은, 건물을 더욱 아이코닉하게 만들어, 형태적인 즐거움 또한 제공한다.
