In this guesthouse, which will be located deep in the forest of Jeju Island, we try to blur the boundary between the forest and the building through utilizing translucent materials and vertical fins, so that visitors can fully enjoy the nature of Jeju Island.

제주도 숲속 깊이 위치하게 될 이 게스트 하우스에서, 우리는 불투명 재질과 수직의 마감재를 통해 숲과 건축물의 경계를 모호하게 만들었으며, 이를 통해 방문객들이 제주도의 자연을 100% 만끽할 수 있는 공간을 디자인 하였습니다.

Guest house 'fog' / 게스트하우스 '안개'
The space of fog
This design, inspired by the fog in the forest, creates spatial sense of fog spreading between trees. The translucent building blurs boundary between nature and artificial spaces, and gives ambiguous yet unique experiences to visitors.
'안개'의 공간
숲 속의 안개에서 착안한 이 디자인은 마치 나무 사이에 안개가 퍼진 느낌을 자아낸다. 건축물은 모든 실과 외부 자연의 경계가 모호해, 자연인듯 인공의 공간인듯 한 착각을 자아내며, 게스트하우스를 방문한 사람들에게 제주 숲만의 특별한 경험을 선물한다.
